Fair Isle is one of the Shetland Islands, but it is about halfway between the Shetland Islands and Orkney Islands.
It is one of Britain's most remote inhabited islands.

They are extremely cute and fascinating to watch them interacting with each other.

A Northern Fulmar nesting on Fair Isle's cliffs. They have tubes above their beaks for excreting excess salt.
They defend their nests by vomiting up a foul smelling oil.
